Elections Canada is currently recruiting for several paid positions within First Nations and Indigenous communities for the upcoming federal election. These roles offer a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience, build your resume, and support civic engagement in your community.
Available Positions:
- Community Relations Officer (CRO – Indigenous)
Full-time term employment for the duration of the election period.- Pay: $23.01/hour
- Travel reimbursed at $0.565/km
- Training is provided and paid
- Travel is required
- Indigenous Youth and Elder Program (IYEP)
One-day positions for Election Day only.- Pay: $20.01/hour
- Poll Worker Positions for Advance and Regular Polls:
- Central Poll Supervisor: $26.46/hour
- Deputy Returning Officer: $20.01/hour
- Information Officer: $20.01/hour
- Registration Officer: $20.01/hour
- All roles include paid training and travel reimbursement
Elections Canada provides training and covers travel expenses as outlined in the Tariff of Fees.
