Splash Park Attendant *CLOSED*

Piapot First Nation is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to serve as Splash Park Attendant. This seasonal position ensures the safe, clean, and welcoming operation of the splash park during its open hours. The attendant will perform water testing, general maintenance, janitorial tasks, and provide oversight of park activity to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing the park daily in alignment with operating hours (11:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
  • Conducting daily water tests to maintain compliance with safety and health standards
  • Maintaining park grounds, including grass cutting and general upkeep
  • Cleaning and sanitizing washrooms regularly
  • Sweeping and mopping facility areas
  • Monitoring and restocking bathroom supplies
  • Removing and properly disposing of waste as needed
  • Reporting safety concerns or hazards to the Recreation Coordinator
  • Identifying and reporting maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions
  • Assisting with special events or activities related to the splash park or recreation program
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Recreation Coordinator

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and follow a daily schedule
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail
  • Physically capable of performing cleaning and light maintenance tasks
  • Previous experience in a similar role or with basic water testing is an asset
  • Must provide a current CPIC and Vulnerable Sector Check
